Using old SSD as secondary drive for new computer

So I thought I could use the old SSD on the new computer so i would not have to re-do all of my passwords and bookmarks, hooked it up and it showed in windows, but I clicked on Firefox and it came up as a clean install, not the one with all my info. (no Firefox on the new boot drive SSD in the new system). what am I doing wrong?

Maybe just firefox history and info got erased? Checked anything else besides firefox?

You can't transfer firefox passwords/bookmarks this way.
You'd have to export them in the old system and import in the new system.

Hi Alwaysconfused,

That's not the way it works.
First you have to export your fav/logins from the old disk and import them into the new.

Or use http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/download.php to backup complete FF and restore to new one.
