Using R9 270 & Intel 4600 for 3 monitors?

So, as stated in the thread post I would like to use 3 monitors in extended desktop mode. The R9 270 only allows this if an active display port adapter is used and I do not have one at this current moment in time.

Anyway, I was wondering if I could enable both graphics adapters in the BIOS and run one monitor off the 4600 and the other 2 on the R9.

Any help is appreciated!

We did this with at work with a cheapo nvidia 40$ gfx card (can't remember the model number). It should work for desktop usage, but don't expect to do any eyefinity gaming on it =P

Yes. I've done it too where my 2nd screen is connected to the HD 4600 iGPU then my primary monitor is connected to the discrete GPU.

However, for me (I have a Z97-A) I have to go into the bios and manually allow the IGPU and discrete GPU to work together. You might have to do the same thing.
