Using the ASUS auto-tuning to OC, does the CPU stay OC'd after reboot???

Hey guys, I just ran auto-tuning with ASUS AI suite utility TurboV EVO. After it rebooted it said I got a 20% boost (i7 3770 @ 4.2Ghz). Now, does anyone know if my system is now at 4.2 Ghz all the time, every time I turn it on? Or do I have to do this auto-tune every time?

I'm way new to overclocking, so I just ran the Fast auto-tune overclocking option.

Any ideas????

Did that, and it bounces around between 1648 MHz to 4223 MHz. What does that mean??

It means your CPU is doing what it's supposed to do. Speed Step allows the CPU to idle at 16x multiplier, and when the CPU power is needed, it ramps up to 42x.

I realize that. But the fact that it is hitting 4.2 GHz means it successfully overclocked? And if so, will it stay like that when I turn the system on and off?
