Using the fan's molex splitter to run fan and graphics card.

Hello, everyone.
I'm a bit confused. I want to buy 2 more case fan's (NZXT FN-120).
My mobo's fan slots are full, but the NZXT fans come with molex splitters...
My psu has 2 molex cables, and both of them I use because I need 6 pin power cable for my R9 270x (the other 6 pin cable was with the psu), so I was wondering could I power my fans with the molex cable and connect it to the R9 270x and have everything working?

I would not split the GPU power cable. I'd further solit the other fan cable first, or get a small fan controller.

What headers do you have on your motherboard and what are you using them for? You can split them. There is power for at least two and usually three fans off each board header if necessary.

On my mobo's website it's saying this:
- 1 x CPU Fan Connector (4-pin)
- 1 x Chassis Fan Connector (4-pin)
- 1 x Power Fan Connector (4-pin)
I'm using all of them.

You can easily put a Y splitter on the Chassis fan to drive two case fans.

What are you using the PSU fan for?

I was considering to get Y splitter, but in my country it's really expensive... (Because it sells only in one place 😀 )

No. I don't run my fans from Molex. Full power all the time is too wasteful for me. Something like this, which will allow you to control the fans, is what I like.
