So I've read some people mentioning that instead of using nail polish it could be possible to cover the smds with regular non conductive thermal paste to form a barrier in case the liquid metal spills, but I could not find any post or video from anyone that actually tried doing this anywhere.
I wouldnt like to use nail polish because it's permanent, and I don't really want to risk using the wrong nail polish since I don't live in the US so I can't use the brands that are know to be safe to do this.
