As title suggests, im getting really high temps of 80 -84 when i OC my R5 3600 and i cant seem to do anything to keep them down!

Currently my OC is 4.2 Ghz @ 1.375v

Using a CoolerMaster ML240R AIO - re-seated and re-pasted several times to make sure is okay.

When using the same cooler on my old 1700x it kept temps really nice (68-71) with a 4.0Ghz OC on a similar voltage

Maybe my cooler is not setup in BIOS correctly, maybe there is another setting but i cant run my OC because these temps are too hot! Any help would be appreciated!

Are you sure those temps are °C? as 68>71°c is not 'really nice' - but stinking hot! And 1.375v Isn't going to cause that. An R5-3600 should be idling in the high 30's, if ambient is low 20's, and 70 ish under load. Sounds like you've had these issues since your 1700x, as that temp is crazy hot for idle. Check your case fans are rotating, and going in the correct directions. Which directions are all your fans blowing, including the AIO fans?
