I have narrowed my two choices for gaming monitors down to two. The HP Opem X35 AMVA or the Acer Predator XB271HU which is a 27 inch IPS Panel. I have had an ultrawide panel before from Acer but returned it because i was extremely disappointed from the color reproduction on it's VA panel. I have read some that AMVA solves some of the color reproduction problems, im not sure how different or how much of a difference AMVA is from VA or if there is a real difference at all.
Color is a BIG deal to me coming from an IPS panel. However with my current price budget i have to choose between the two. Although having an ultrawide panel would be my preferred option, my last VA panel was too underwhelming in color reproduction. Please let me know about your thoughts, Thanks!

Color wise VA is still inferior to IPS, though it does have a better contrast range. If you are hooked on color accuracy, especially an IPS that's geared specifically towards color reproduction you probably won't be happy with VA.

Can't seem to find any good reviews for the other one.
