Vampire without Clan!

The next preview seems to be a Clanless vampire, not a caitif,
Clanless, without the clan symbol, what could that be? a Ghoul maybe?
It's written on it TBA: New, not a new rule, nor a rule update?
What the hell could this be?

I think you're confusing its proximity to the words, "TBA: New", which
has been there since the beginning. That is, it just happens to be
directly over "TBA: New", which is next in line to be revealed after
this vampire is revealed (if I recall correctly and assuming they
hold to pattern, of course). That would happen on Tuesday.

Presumedly, this new clanless vampire (if that's the explanation for
the lack of any discernable clan symbol) is a totally separate
revelation from "TBA: New".

Or not. 🙂

Fred, hoping they'll give out free tickets to the LARP party for the
first 9 callers...

Eyes without a face....

C'mon man. Get real. The B&W of the vamp don't show its clan symbol
so well. That's all.

Looks like a !Gangrel to me, disciplines (ani) (for) (OBF) (PRO). Can't
read name, text or capacity, though.

It's definetly a Baali, you can see a small black circle where the
clan symbol is supposed to be.

I think that vampire is Valerius Maior, Hell's Fool, and the clan
symbol is obfuscated due to the fact its advanced version (in some
manner, as Pethaniqua being a TBA vampire). The new rule announcement
would be related to this, but I have no idea what could it be.

The striations on the background of the card don't match any of the
clans shown, so I'm guessing Giovanni. Say NEC, OBF, pot, ani. That's
my two cents.

i´ll side to this. the Giovanni clan symbol is also one of the few
dark ones (not as dark as the baali, naturally, but all the thin lines
kindda disappear in low-res/b&w preview images...), and also, it´s
square, and i don´t see any black circle where the clan symbol should
be (afterall, if they use photoshop to create the final version of the
cards,it´s just so easy to set a layer as invisible...and the same
goes for almost every other pro image editting software), but rather a
lack of any markings, so that would be my guess... and it really scared
me when i checked the preview and there was no clan symbol there...

name-wise, the giovanni have a few ons that could match:

Almodo Giovanni
Ambrogino ADV (but i don´t think so ´cause of the image we saw
spoilled earlier)
Carmine Giovanni
Cristobal Ghiberti

My suspition is that it's just a regular vampire that's had its clan
symbol removed or Über-jumbled for the sake of the preview... It's got
OBF, but have this odd feeling that it's going to be a Giovanni.

Then again, those WW folks have surprised me in the past.

Let's start a pool! I'm buying into Cristobal Ghiberti.

It's possible the Clan Symbol is there, but really hard to see. Remember
how the Giovanni Clan cards looked in Ancient Hearts?

Unfortunately, I would bet on Cagliostro, The Grand Copht. But we've
already seen a Setite, so it would seem strange...

I just want it to be a Giovanni for you, Orph... It's way past due...

I think the lack of (Adv) symbol is telling.

Yeah, but so far the middle card in each row has been in some way
related to the rule below it. Maureen - new Infernal rule, Red List -
Red List rule, Michael DiCarlo - new Blood Curse rule and Trophy -
Trophy rule, so I'd dare guess that the TBA: New has something to do
with the soon-to-be-revealed vampire.

Or not. :)

To me it seems [ani] [pot] [OBF] [SER] with it's clan symbol
deliberately blurred. Otherwise it's a Baali - theirs is one of the
few clan symbols to be black instead of white... as far as I remember.

#1. I cannot see anything that looks like a small black circle or anything
the slightest bit like a Baali clan circle. Even making allowances for the
blurriness, I don't think there's a Baali clan symbol there, no.

#2. The background is not the same as the Baali background.

There are 8 Starter-Only Vampires and 50 Booster Vampires.

Yes, I know. The last Tsarevich was named Alexis. Nevertheless, I believe
*this* Alexis is a woman.

LOL. Thanks Derek.

Yes, it would be unfair that only one indie clan, the BEST of them without
any possible doubt 😉 stayed out of the previews.

On the other hand, the thing I want to know will not be revealed by the
previews : are there enough good new Giovanni / Nec / Indie / Anarch cards
to offer real new possibilities for my Famiglia ?

Sure hope so.

It's definately [ani]. And [OBF]. But that second attribute isn't
[for], and the fouth is definately not [PRO]. Compare to Mitra.
They're nothing alike. Closest I can tell, the second trait looks a
lot like [pot] when compared to Annis. And given the 'right side' bias
of the final superior, it looks most similar to Serpentis (or maybe
Melon-pony). No FoS matches it name wise, however (two long names).
