Hi everyone,
A very annoying issue started occurring to me in the latest week, computer was working fine before that.
My PC freezes completely for a couple of seconds(5-10) every couple of hours (2-8 times a day). Doesn't seem to occur when I'm doing a specific activity - happened to me while browsing the web, gaming and more.

I have inspected the event viewer and found a reoccurring event which is printed every time my computer freezes - consistently.
The network interface "Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30)" has begun resetting. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. Reason: The network driver detected that its hardware has stopped responding to commands. This network interface has reset 1 time(s) since it was last initialized.

Troubleshooting steps I have already tried:
  • I have tried reinstalling the device driver through device manager.
  • Verified all windows updates are installed
  • Verified latest bios is installed
Bellow are my system specs:
  • OS: Windows 10 x64 bit, version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.985) - was working fine before hand.
  • Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-H77M-D3H (rev. 1.0) BIOS version F14
  • CPU: Intel i5-3450 @ 3.10GH (stock)
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (stock)
  • RAM: 12GB DDR3
    • CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 1333MHz (CMV4GX3M1A1333C9)
    • Kingston 8GB DDR3 1333MHz (99U5471-040.A00LF)
  • DISKS:
    • Samsung SSD 850 evo 250GB (boot drive): Rapid mode enabled through Samsung magician
    • WD Caviar blue 500GB 7200 RPM storage drive (WD5000AAKX-001CA0)
  • PSU: Seasonic ssp-550rt (550w 80+ Gold)
Thanks for any help and looking forward for your replies

The network adapter thing could be related to the freeze so might be a symptom rather than a cause.

No event 41?

Are you monitoring temps?

Temps are fine: while gaming GPU max 70c CPU max 75c.
I don't get event 41 since the freeze is just for couple of seconds and then the computer is fine.

Although I did get two BSOD with "dpc watchdog violation" error today and yesterday. This might be related?
