Hello all
I've been getting increasing BSODs the last month until today when my computer wont even boot to windows without a BSOD. Here are the various BSOD errors:
KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY
DRIVER_OVERRRAN_STACK_BUFFER
CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
For a bit I was able to get into safe mode, but I cant anymore.
My last ditch effort was unplugging everything from the motherboard except for the cdrom, keyboard, and mouse, and I still get BSODs while trying to bootup from a Win 10 install disc.
I ran Memcheck86 with 8 passes with 0 errors, so the memory probably isn't the issue. My PSU is 750W, so I dont think I'm having power supply issues.
I got a new Intel Core i7-8700K, with a ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING and Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz memory in January this year, and I started having issues after I upgraded, but just chalked up the random BSOD to Win10 or bad drivers.
Is it possible that I got a bad CPU?
