I installed Windows 11 on Windows 10 in such a way that my data and applications would remain intact. Everything seemed to be working until I wanted to update my NVIDIA GeForce Experience to the latest version 3.24.0.126. The installation started and after a while I got an error message that the file vc_runtimeMinimum_x86.msi is missing...

I searched the C drive and found a file with this name, but in a different forlder:
"C: \ ProgramData \ Package Cache \ {1E6FC929-567E-4D22-9206-C5B83F0A21B9} v14.22.27821 \ packages \ vcRuntimeMinimum_x86 \ vc_runtimeMinimum_x86.msi"

Can it be fixed somehow?
Or maybe the only solution is to install Windows on a blank disk?

I tried to uninstall NVIDIA GeForce Experience but nothing is happening. When I tried to uninstall Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x86) - 14.21.27702, I get another error.

I downloaded Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) - 14.30.30704 from the Internet and tried to install but got a similar error.

[Edit]
I found version 14.21.27702 of Microsoft Visual C ++ 2019 on the web. I was also able to install it without error, after deleting a few keys from the registry. Then I ran the NVIDIA install which was aborted with a new error:

So there is currently a problem with MS Visual C ++ 2017 v14.13.26020, but this time on x64.
Can anyone help to find where I can download this package?

By the way, I tried to install the latest MS Visual C ++ 2015-2022 x86 v14.30.30704 package and the installation was successful. :)

But I still need MS Visual C ++ 2017 x64 v14.13.26020 package to resolve the problem
Where can I find it?

I dealt with it myself. First, I manually deleted all 13 keys from the registry that contained the string 14.13.26020. Then I ran the installation of the latest MS VC ++ 2015-2022 x64 libraries package which finished without errors. Then I installed the NVIDIA GeForce update without errors as well.
Maybe someone will find my thread useful. :)
