That looks like an MLCC in the center to me. Do you mean the two resistors either side of it?

I think he's trying to mod the OD IREF pins by removing the resistors and penciling in the trace.

This would be a good time to contact buildzoid. He's the master when it comes to power delivery system modding. He has his own channel on youtube.
