hi, i recently bought a acer aspire A315-41 with a ryzen 2700u and a VEGA 10 integrated GPU. it has dual 4gb ram 2400 modules. by default 1gb is dedicated to the GPU but i wanna change it. There is no option in the bios to change it and it doesnt work with a tutorial i followed in regedit.
Thanks already
I am also interested in this. I have a dell inspiron 7375 with 12 GB of DDR3 ram and in windows 10 it shows four things when I pull up the display adapter properties:
Total available graphics =6128 MB
Dedicated video ram =256 MB
System video memory = 0 MB
Shared system memory = 5962 MB
I am concerned that when I change the frame buffer to a higher value in the BIOS it will not reflect the change in windows 10 when I pull up.
I would just go ahead and try it out but my other concern is that when I make this change to my video buffer, windows might not be able to boot and will stay in black screen and then I'll have to reset the motherboard completely.
