Sure, but we only know MSRP of $399USD so it's probably at least $450USD so possibly close to $600CDN for a VEGA 56 card.
So I suggest anybody building use $800CDN (pcpartpicker) for everything but Windows and VEGA 56 card. There are ways to get Windows cheaper but for now I'll assume $800CDN and see what I can come up with.
There are cheaper cards that do 1080p quite well though. I'm mostly maxing everything at 2560x1440, 60FPS with my GTX1080 and VEGA 56 will be close to that.
Okay, will come back... (probably Ryzen build).
The thing is I wanted a rx 580 but it's gonna be forever untill I can actually get my hands on one.. Even if I had one though I wouldn't feel reasured that I could max every game out at 60fps.
Well, you probably won't see VEGA 56 availability before RX-580 comes back.
I'm analyzing the VEGA FE benchmarks which suggest VEGA 56 is about 20 to 30% more powerful than an RX-580 card, but obviously we need actual cards tested for confirmation.
You can STEP through these benchmarks to see how games do at 1080p with an RX-580 card. Assume the game settings are very high/ultra but not necessarily everything at max.
