Hi guys, this probably isn't the right place to ask this, but here goes.

All my renders in sony vegas pro 13 look very grainy and not clear.

Examples:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zSwEVM-Nck

It's not very clear and very ugly. Any fixes?

Render Settings For The First Video: http://prntscr.com/api4gd
Render Settings For The Second Video: https://gyazo.com/84314882c20ed90c3d7bb45602cdedcc

Please help, I'm a content creator and I want crystal clear videos for my viewers. Thanks <3

You want to export to H.264, not WMV (Windows Media Video, in your gyazo).

What are you using to record with?

What are the settings while recording?

For the cleanest end result possible, due to YouTube's compression/artifacts, you want to make sure the source is clean. You then want to transcode your files to an editing friendly codec, you're probably on Windows, so DNxHD.

Beceause you're using 1280x720 60 FPS files, you want to transcode to DNxHD 100. -- Correction, YouTube originally showed 50 FPS.

Use MPEG Streamclip to transcode your files: http://www.squared5.com/

This is the codec you will need DNxHD: http://www.videohelp.com/software/Avid-DNxHD

I see that you already figured this out. Well, it's here if you need it...

All the best! :)

Thank you so much!! I basically just did some stuff with the mp4 format and some bitrate and render it in 1080. I will keep this in mind and will probably use it. Thank you so much!

Hey man, I'm having another problem. When I render in 720p it looks very ugly.
