APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: By end of Sept
BUDGET RANGE: Trying to stay under $100.00 After Rebates

USAGE: Looking to run at better than minimum setting the games Perpetuum and Star Wars the Old Republic, DVD watching is also needed.

Current aging system:

- Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
- Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad processor Q6600 (2.4GHz)
- 4GB DDR2-667MHz dual channel SDRAM (4x1024)
- 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT, TV-out, DVI-I, HDMI
- 500GB 7200 rpm SATA 3Gb/s hard drive
- Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
- IPIBL-LA motherboard
- 5188-2859 HP POWER SUPPLY 350 Watt

Monitor HP w2207 LCD widescreen at 1680 x 1050

currently use Tiger Direct but willing to go anywhere in US for card

Not looking to overclock, just want to be sure I am choosing a good upgrade to current card that isn't wasteful for my cpu and mb.

Two choices I found:

EVGA 01G-P3-1430-LR GeForce GT 430 Video Card - 1024MB, GDDR3, PCI-Express 2.0 (x16), 1x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA, DirectX 11, Single-Slot, Low Profile at $54.99

EVGA 01G-P3-1431-KR GeForce GT 430 Video Card - 1GB, DDR3, PCI-Express 2.0 (x16), Dual DVI, Mini-HDMI, DirectX 11, Single-Slot at $59.99

The only difference between the two that I can tell is one is low profile.

Thanks for the help!
