version 6.2 won't work anymore

i was using the 6.2 version, i downloaded the 7.0 version
which didn't work. I uninstalled it. but now the 6.2
version won't work, only the 4.7 version will.

Can you elaborate on "won't work", any error messages you're seeing and a description of
exactly what occurs?
