Just purchased two Dell P2418D's off a seller on Amazon. Enjoying them so far, very nice picture.

Today, about a week after receiving them, I have a vertical line of dead pixels on one. It seems to come and go as I move the monitor around, so I am assuming there must be a loose connection somewhere in the monitor. I have replaced display cable, no difference. It's not the cable port either as moving the cable around at the port doesnt cause it. It seems to only show up when I press on the monitor right at the top of the vertical line.

I don't really want to go through the hassle of RMAing this monitor if this issue is not likely to get worse. It's easily fixable with a little nudge, and I'm not sure what caused it to show up in the first place, but at the moment I really seem to have to work to get it to come back. I've never had any issues with any monitors before

How likely is this issue to get worse? Should I RMA just to be safe?

Solution
Symptoms sound like there's loose connection between lcd panel and underlying contacts, that connect panel to pcb.
Had the same issue on one of my monitors.
Solution was quite simple - apply pressure to the point, where loose connection is. For example by putting in a small piece of paper between bezel and lcd screen.
