Very bad benchmark results?

Hi everyone,

I have been getting very low FPS when playing games for a while now so I ran a benchmark:

Can anyone explain why and how I can fix this? (I was thinking of getting a i7-7700)

I'm running a i5-6400 right now.

The results of Userbenchmark already indicate a couple of things of note: incomplete and a lot of background processes running.

However, the score of something like Userbenchmark is no replacement from the monitoring your hardware while you are playing a game (which is what you indicate to be the issue). Use something like MSI Afterburner to monitor your hardware's behaviour. Personally I'd monitor CPU, GPU and RAM usage and frequencies; CPU and GPU temperatures; fps and frametimes; and if necessary page file. These things will give you a better idea of why the game isn't performing well rather than a synthetic benchmark which informs you how well your PC performed in that test.
