Very high CPU idle temp(i7-8700K)

CPU reaches 100C when idle, all the fans are working along with the radiator fans. I own a Corsair H100i v2 and i7-8700K. Here's my BIOS monitoring details if it's of any use.

tried tapping/flicking the tubes to ensure no air is caught in the tube?

100C at Idle is ridiculous, sounds like your cooler is making poor contact with your CPU, check your installation. Remove and reinstall if needed.

Tried both reseating and applying new thermal paste before , problem still persists.

Could be the pump is dead.

The pic shows fan speed as 0, is that supposed to be the pump RPM? The water cooler doesn't show up in Corsair Link.

That would be it.

The H100i V2 is powered by the fan header that it's connected to.

The fan header (CPU_FAN) that the H100i V2 connected to set to full power/100%. Do that first before you think that the pump is dead. If it's not getting the full 12V, then it won't operate properly. Additionally, if it has been working but hasn't been at 100%, it can cause the pump to die prematurely.

How do I set it to full power? It was working perfectly before, temp didn't cross 65C even on load.

I'm not familiar with the Gigabyte BIOS but it'll be in the screen cap that you showed.
If it worked before, then the pump may be dead. When it worked, what was your pump speed in Link/iCue? Do you recall?

The cooler doesn't show up in Link/iCue, as everything was working perfectly before, I didn't bother to look at the speeds in the BIOS.
