I think my m15 r2 is running very hot. Its not a huge performance dip but its very hot.
At idle and max fans the cpu temp is : 55 -70C and the gpu temp is : 55 - 60C with the cpu usage < 10% and package tdp at around 15W. ( it just has 2 tabs of edge running tho)
It reaches a 100C when i am playing CSGO! Which is not a very demanding game at all.
I stress tested in Intel XTU. And the temps reach from 65 to 100 in seconds. And stay there.
I tried undervolting to about -0.120 but there was not much difference.
I just recently fixed a flea power related issue and flashed the bios.

I have noticed much nicer temps on battery and graph doesnt fluctuate as much as it does when charging.

Please help me out. I paid a lot for this and i dont want it to burn out.
Is anyone facing a similar issue or has a fix? i wasnt facing this problem the first few months tho. my laptop is 4 months old.

It's Alienware's laptop, so it's normal. Mine is not an m15 even, it's just Alienware 15 R4, the 2018 version. It's not even thin like yours, it has more space for airflow, but still does the same thing. IDEL 55-65, in-game 93-99. The only thing you can do is not just undervolt, you disable the turbo-boost using ThrottleStop app. Trust me, game use more GPU, so this won't affect your FrameRate, I tested in Battlefield V and COD MW WarZone. No problem. But if you want to work on some creative work, like design and video editing, you can simply turn on turbo-boost, the creative software not constantly use the power, so it won't burn out your CPU. However, dell's computer is not made for work in the daytime, and the game in the night time day by day. I recommend using your desktop or MacBook pro if you WFH during the pandemic. Because I got a swollen Battery and I had to order a battery and replace by my own...
