Specs:
GTX 980ti
i5 4690k (Evo 212)
Gold certified EVGA 850w Powersupply
8gb RAM
MSI Z97 Gaming 5 MOBO
128 GB SSD
1TB HHD
Recently i have been having major issues with my whole PC in general. About 6 months ago, I bought pre built PC to play CSGO on. After realizing that I wanted to play more games than just CSGO, I decided to upgrade in January. I pretty much trashed everything other than my HHD, my RAM, and my SSD. I upgraded to everything you see in the specs above and all was going fine until I noticed that my GPU usage is absolute garbage on some games. At first it wasn't a problem on Counter-Strike because I was still getting well over 300 FPS. Sunday I noticed that it took almost 10 Minutes to load into Counter-Strike. Then when i finally got into the game, my frames were very bad. I was getting below 60 at some points. Even though I have a 60 hz monitor, I still experience lag spikes when it drops from like 130 to 90fps. I have posted threads in the past before about GPU usage being bad, but nothing fixed my problem. I think it may have something to do with my RAM. I might order some new ram soon if my problem doesn't get fixed. My temps on my CPU stay around 50-60 C, while my GPU stays around 80 C. Please Help!!
(I also experience low GPU usage in games made by Bohemia. So like DayZ and Arma 2 and 3)
