Very Old Memory Sticks

I have ten-year-old memory sticks called:

1gb 1rx8 pc2-6400u-666-12

And I want to know whether they would work with a new Ryzen 3 2200G CPU, and also whether four of them would be sufficient for the meantime until I upgrade (once new memory sticks are cheaper). They are DDR2.

You cannot use DDR2 on AMD AM4 motherboard. You must use DDR4 RAM.
When you pick your motherboard, head to the motherboard manufacturer website and select RAM from the Qualified Vendor List (QVL)

Prices went down a little bit, they were even higher a couple of months ago.
If you are not in a hurry, get the RAM when you see a good discount.
