Hello!

I've been having an issue with my HDD (Model Name: WDC WD10EZEX-00BBHA0) and this problem has been happening constantly since I have bought the HDD. The problem with the hard drive is that it constantly freezes when it writes pretty much anything, during the writing process the HDD stays at 100% usage and every second (or every 800ms) writes something with a speed of about 1MB/s. There are no issues with reading whatsoever, it easily reaches 280MB/s while reading stuff.

Few months back it also constantly logged warnings in Event Logger (currently don't have any pictures of it, but IDs of those events were 140 and 153).

I've been searching for the solution for few months already, any help would be very much appreciated.

Computer Specs:
Motherboard: Intel Strawberry Mountain DQ67SW

RAM: 4GB DDR3 (Kingston 9905402-532.A00LF) x2
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
HDD: WDC WD10EZEX-00BBHA0 1GB
SSD: 2.5" 256GB LEVEN (JS600SSD256GB)

UPDATE

The issue seems to be fixed now. The problem was a faulty SATA cable, it was properly attached but was damaged. Thank you all who tried to solve this!
