Hi guys,

I have i5-7600K, RX480 8GB and 16gb ram in my setup. I've been using it for 1-2 years without any problem. But 2-3 days ago suddenly my PC generally started to be very slow. Opening a program, watching YouTube videos etc. Also I've started to get 20-30 fps from games like CS:GO which I get normally 180-200 fps. I'm using Windows 10 and it is installed to Samsung 850 EVO SSD. Something happened but i have no idea. Can someone help me?

Thank you.

You said it just kinda ramdomly started, soit might be a virus slowing down your pc. I would download an antivirus program and scan the computer for viruses.

If that doesn't work, try this (probably won't help too much but you can try)

Step 1. Hold windows key + press the R key.
Type "%temp%
Delete all the files that can be deleted.

Step 2. Do the same as nr 1 but without "%"

Step 3. Defrag your harddrive / ssd

Step 4. Download "ccleaner" and delete unnecessary files.

Step 5: delete programs that you don't use.

Step 6: Press the little arrow in the bottom right corner of your screen, right click on the icons and then "close"

Step 7: Right click the taskbar > task manager > go to the tab "auto startup" or something along those...

I have formatted the PC so the SSD which Windows is installed has 192 gb free space on it. Nothing wrong with the CPU temperatures. It's 35-40 celsius

Memory is 24% and CPU is 11%. The rest is under 10%. I've updated all Windows Updates and the graphics driver is up to date as well.
