Vesa Mount Problem

Hi,

So I bought this used Vesa wall mount for my Acer GN246H and since the back of the monitor isn't fully flat, mounting the monitor has been a problem.

Please see images to see what I'm talking about. Is it worth trying to find a solution to mounting this? Or should I cut my losses.

You bought the wrong mount.
It needs a 100x100 plate. You have something larger.

it doesnt matter the screen isnt flat as long as the screws are tall enough and straight mounted, however the holes of the mount and the monitor dont match.
so rma it and do your homework and get a mount that fits.

If you are handy enough, you could cut that VESA plate approx on the red lines here:

Can't RMA as I bought it used. Also, the holes do line up, it is just too large of a mounting plate.
