[SOLVED] VG248 only 60hz

I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KANYY8U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with a gtx 1060. It won't work with my monitor to get 144hz and only gets a max of 60hz. Any solutions or information needed?

The VG248 is limited to 60 Hz over HDMI. You need to use DVI or DisplayPort.

If you inspected the link you would see that it's a DP to DVI-D.

You can't use an adapter (unless it's a $100 DP-to-DL-DVI active adapter), you need to use a straight DVI-to-DVI connection or a DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connection.
