Hi all
My pc has a asus p8h61 mle usb 3 motherboard with a core i5 sandybridge cpu. 6GB ram ddr3.
My pc ran win 10 pro 64bit without an issue but last week the gpu said goodbye, went back to the onboard vga adapter. all worked fine for a week then I got a video tdr error. Ended up formatting pc and reinstalled win 10. two days later pc froze again with tdr video error.
So I installed win 7 ultimate 64bit and all worked fine, but as soon as i install either the vga driver that came with the motherboard. downloaded from asus site or via windows update, windows freezes at the boot splash of win 7.
Then I must boot into safe mood and delete the intel hd 3000 driver and boot into windows again.
Any help would be appreciated.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. List them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

I'm guessing your PSU was the sole reason the GPU died and now it'a affecting the board/components as well. Also include the age of the PSU(alongside the make and model).
