Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk B350 MAX
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB x 2
PSU: Corsair CX650
GPU: MSI GTX 970

Hi, PC has been functioning normally for months. Turned off my PC and turned it back on but it won't even POST. Have not changed anything in my setup.

On boot the CPU LED is lit for a couple of seconds, then turns off. And then the VGA LED is lit on the motherboard.
I removed my graphics card and reset the CMOS but the VGA LED is still lit.
I have tried reseating all cables.

Reckon my mobo is broken, anything I can try before I buy a new one?

Oh wow I didn't realise Ryzen didn't have integrated graphics. I've always used intel and just took it for granted.

Okay, so my graphics card is probably dead?

Okay so good news! After turning the PC on and waiting for about 10 minutes, it booted into Windows. I think this is because there is a faulty hard drive that was prolonging the boot cycle and I simply wasn't being patient enough. It doesn't explain why the motherboard splash screen wasn't displaying but whatever.

After removing the hard drive, it boots into Windows normally.

Thanks for your help rgd1101, but it was my own impatient self that was the problem.
