Question VGA light on motherboard and no usb power

I have a Ryzen 5 1600
Rtx 3060 ti
B350m motherboard
16gb ram (8x2)

What happened was I upgraded to a 3060ti and everything was working fine for a good for 3 days then I turned off by holding the power button and now when I turn it on I get no display and no power to my mouse and keyboard. One thing to note was that I was using a 500w power supply which I'm guessing was the reason for all this.


I've swapped my PSU to a 700w unit and same issue

I've swapped my GPU same problem

I've moved my ram sticks around and changed them

why did you use the power button to turn off the system?

The 500w psu is a CWT model number: GPT500S-A
And the 700w is a EVGA 700GD gold unit

The reason for the shutdown was that I was running late for work

since you already tested with another gpu and psu, sound like motherboard issue.

Yeah I was thinking this. is there a possibility it could be the cpu I don’t want to spend without knowing the culprit for sure
