I recently started a PC build, and after I got my RAM I decided to see if all the components were working and I could enter the BIOS setup menu.
Here's my component list, I haven't installed a GPU, storage device or installed Windows 10 yet:
Case: Fractal Design - Define Nano S
MOBO: Asus X470-I Gaming (I removed the RGB M.2 Heatsink on the motherboard)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
CPU Cooler: Stock Cooler that comes with CPU (changing it out later)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 MHz (CMK16GX4M2A2666C16)
PSU: Corsair RM550x (2018)
I booted it up and everything was running fine, I could hear the CPU cooler and case fans running. But then nothing pops up on the display, I decided to open the case to see what LED light was on in it to troubleshoot the problem. A white LED stayed on which according to my Asus motherboard manual, that means that there's a problem with the VGA.
So I unplugged my HDMI cable, replugged it in, and nothing changed (I've used this HDMI cable with my PS4, so I know it isn't the cable's fault). I then proceeded to reset the CMOS pins with a screwdriver. I booted it up, and again nothing happened.
So I'm asking how do I fix this error, and get my PC to start? Do I need to get a GPU to plug the HDMI cord into instead of plugging it directly to the Motherboard?
