VGA Mode was turned off, how do I get it back when I have ..

I accidentally hit the stop button in the VGA prpoerties. When the PC boots
up I can see the BIOS just fine, bit when iit starts to load XP Home the
Monitor goes blank. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Try F8 at startup and "Enable VGA Mode"

Hello Dave,
Ahh a common misconception as to what VGA Mode is.
This mode actually uses the installed video driver with the default
selections.
64-by-480-by-256 colors in 60 hz
This allows the installed video driver to be configured if during normal
mode any of the video or monitor settings were set or changed so as to make
the screen unreadable.
The Safe Mode selectionsuse the VGA driver(Safe Mode, Safe Mode with
Networking, and Safe Mode Command Prompt Only), the enable VGA Mode
selection uses the installed video driver unless there isn't another video
driver installed.
To enable the VGA driver you need to use Device Manager, locate the VGA
driver and enable it.

Thanks Darrell, for pointing this out. I see now that there is a difference
between XP's VGA Mode and NT's VGA Mode
