VGA to HDMI adapter

It may sound stupid but ..Okay so i got an LG 22EN33 Monitor which im currently connect my pc via VGA.It doesnt have hdmi entry by itself . Im gaming mostly and i got a pretty good rig but i never bothered to go for a better monitor. Will i see significant improvement if i go for an adapter like this ? Or do i have to switch to a more new monitor which is naturally connected to hdmi?

There will be no improvement from using an HDMI to VGA adapter.

No, if you don't see any interference, going from vga to any digital port will make no difference.
