VIA HD audio drivers - mic audio is using my headset audio

This just randomly happened. Before my mic and headset audio would work fine: I could skype people, talk to people ingame and use Cortana with my voice. But now for some reason, the audio is messed up. For all apps, my mic is using the audio being played back to my headset and not what I am saying. I think it maybe something to do with the audio driver but I'm not sure.
My headset is a Sades SA-708 and it's plugged into the front panel of my case which is a CiT Vantage. I tried plugging it into the motherboard I/O but then the audio doesn't even work at all.
