VIA HD Audio / no mic

I cant get my mic on my X12 headset to work for the life of me, I heard there is a Problem with this but i have not found a fix.

I tried reinstalling the the driver using the front and back mic input. Settings in Control pannal and in HD audio

Any one had this problem before with the VIA HD audio ? the heasd set works with the realtex on my kids PC
