VIA KT133 and 1GB modules

Does anyone know if the VIA KT133 chipset supports 1GB DIMMS? Im currently using a gigabyte GA7-ZXR motherboard and i want to buy a 1GB PC100 RAM module for it, but dont wanna waste my money if my motherboard cant take it.

Several revisions of that board, but Crucial only lists them as compatible with sdram up to 512MB. Even if it happen sto work with 1gig sticks, i you have money for the 1 gig sticks, save yourself some grief, and replace the motehrboard(and cpu if necessary). KT133 is one of worst chipsets released in last decade.

Im doing this on a budget so dont wanna spend too much money. I can get hold of 1gig of SD for £50, I dont wanna spend much more than that. I need as much RAM as possible for a project im undertaking.
