When I put it on vibrate my incoming text messaging and voicemail still
beep. Any easy way to put it on vibrate and have everything go to vibrate,
like my sanyo 4900 did??? Only way to quiet txt messaging with the soft
keys is to go to silent all, i enjoy knowing when i get txt messaging, just
not good if it beeps at work.

Thanks

I don't know the specifics about that phone, but on several others
(incl. the Sanyo 8100, Samsung VGA1000, Samsung A460), if you use the
side key (not the menus) to set it to vibrate, it sets the voice ringer
and the voicemail alert (and probably text, too) to vibrate.

The Sanyo 5400/RL2500 works that way too, so likely it does also on the
5500/VM4500.

Just set it to vibrate. I get my e-mail to instant message me whenever
there is a e-mail. However, pollen.com send out free pollen e-mails at
night. To avoid the phone ringing and waking me up, I just set the IM to
vibrate.

I turn my phone off at night. Every once in a while I'd get a 2 AM wrong
number call from what seemed to be a Drug Dealer.
