Hi guys. I am using windows 10 since launch, updated manually a month ago with media creation tool and everything was running fine. So this week i decided to reinstall dota 2, i noticed that the audio was glitched when playing the game and after i exit from it, but it happened randomly.
Then i reinstalled nvidia drivers and updated msi afterburner, played yesterday and today and everything was fine in game, but i noticed that after a moment when i was watching a youtube video, that the audio started to have the same problem, is a crackling noise, even when i click the volume button in windows 10 it makes a distorted sound, so is not tied to any program the problem, it goes system wide.
after this i rebooted the pc and there is no video anymore so i turned off and on again and it worked fine, but this happed twice this week and always after i played dota 2.
Maybe is the temperature that the gpu or any other component reach during the game, gpu reached max 84c. after some of this problem i decided to run the gpu fan at max, and even with lower temperature the problem happened again.
So what could be the problem? Dota 2, drivers, windows 10, or something else? My config is a 3570k, 660ti, 8gb ddr3, asus p8h77i. Thanks in advance.
