Hi Everyone,

I am planning to build a budget gaming computer and i don't what video card to choose here's the specs of my build:

CPU: Intel G3258
Motherboard: Asus H81-C
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB Dual 1600 CL9
PSU: Seasonic M12II-520 EVO 520w 80Plus Bronze Fully Modular

Solution

Yea, I was suggesting you might as well get the R7 265 since you were considering the 750ti (they're the same price). Getting the OC version would be better if you could get it for just a little more (like $5-10 more).

And yes, it will work with your power supply. You have a good one and it has more than enough power for an r7 265 and a new cpu/mobo.

What is your budget? Here's a comparison between the two cards: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1130?vs=1044

If you are trying to spend as little as possible, get the R7 260x (It's around $125). Your psu is more than capable so you don't have to worry about not having enough power. If you can spend around $150, I would actually recommend getting the R7 265. $150 is what the 750ti would cost anyways so you might as well get the card that performs better.

EDIT: Here's a comparison between the 750ti and the R7 265: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1130?vs=1127

The R7 260X might just have very slight performance gain over the 750 Ti, but the R7 260X draws more power (115 W) than the 750 Ti which takes 60 W. The 750 Ti should be more economical to run.

Ultimately there is not much between the two cards in terms of performance (and price, if you shop around) so the 750 Ti might be the better choice as it should be cheaper to run.
