Hello all,

I'm doing some research on the latest NVidia cards. Nvidia says on their site that "nview" allows multiple monitors, and is available on all Geforce4 cards. I read that you can use a dvi-to-vga adapter cable to run the second (analog) monitor (or if its digital, just plug it in!)

I've done some searching for such cards, and found some that claim nview, but only have one vga connector and one s-video (or s-vhs, whatever you call it, the round one) connector!

Is it possible to do a dual monitor system through a s-vhs port (using an actual monitor, not a TV)?

If not, can anybody point me to a site carring a GF4 mx version (yes I know they're relatively crap :) with a dvi-out?

Finally (and more generally), either I'm missing something, or 99.99% of the online retaliers are CRAP for selection in video card brands. Usually it's visiontek or pny, and that's it, and I've had some terrible experiences with some of these companies. Does anybody know of a mega-site that carries the (supposedly) higher quality brands?

http://www.visiontek.com and they're available almost anywhere. Online and retail... It works, just buy a dvi to vga pass through adapter. nView is built into the drivers, all you have to do is plug the two monitors in and select the option to use both in the advanced display properties.
