because most likely your computer is running on a os that the drivers you are using is incompatible with .., for example your pc was made from the windows xp days and you try to run windows 7 on the pc and install the drivers thats the error you are gonna get it .. a way to get around this is by setting compatibility for windows xp by right clicking on the driver setup and properties and the compatibility and then use the drop down to select windows xp

No, not that. When I startup my pc, the "driver is being installed" pops-up, but it fails to install.
