[SOLVED] Video editor is losing a lot of quality

Hi, I use adobe premiere and when I was outputting a thing I made for school it loses a lot of quality. Is there a way to prevent this? I tried googling it and just ended with it looking like a VHS video (Kinda cool but not what I wanted) as I am using a pro video editor I would expect it to be nearly lossless or close to it. Thanks

Depends on what settings you used and what you were encoding/editing. A lot of times if you take an already compressed file and re-edit it and compress it again you end up with issues. Look at some tutorials for what you are trying to do, plenty of things out there for the program.
