News Video Game Created Entirely With ChatGPT, DALL-E 3, and Midjourney

Ai "creates" a knock off of another game, hardly what I would call creating.
The concept may not be original, but the fact that AI can create a game that is actually borderline fun with just some guidance is amazing. Think of this as a kid who learned how to code a snake game by only looking at millions of code snippets from things not related to snake.

Countless software developers just lost their jobs.
I would think that software developers would benefit the most though? They're in the best position to understand how to use these tools and be the ones developing the tools? Anecdotally, in my own company's tech department, generative AI tools/content is blanket banned unless you go through a pretty detailed application process due to copyright and rights issues.

Good! Screw the anti-progress luddites who are the exact equivalent of the idiots who pointlessly and without long-term impact tore down mechanical looms in textile factories in the late 1800's. New technologies have ALWAYS replaced certain jobs. This isn't a new thing, this is literally the entire history of human technological development. Adapt or die. 🤷 Constantly whining like a total loser that technological progress should just stop isn't going to help anyone, ESPECIALLY yourself.

That probably isn't true though, these systems have consumed most of the code on the internet, there's a good chance they've consumed the source code for an angry birds rip off. I've used these tools extensively over the past year, and the amount of code they just copy verbatim off the Internet is astounding.

I imagine its not going to be a problem for many hobbyists or low profile applications in the near future, but larger companies that have high profile systems need to consider current and future legislature regarding copyright and patents. Especially since there has been more eyes on the legality recently and I expect even more scrutiny in the future.

It's pretty normal for programmers and software devs to look at code and take portions from places like stackoverflow or other forums, but these AI systems go much further like you've said, so the possibility for legal issues is significantly higher.

Then get banded when the over zealot anti-cheat software thinks your cheating.
I'm to old for online gameplay. My on line game play goes like this load in get head shot , well okay load in get head shot again and tea bagged, okay try again load in to different part of map get snipped.:gun:

My kids do the on line stuff. No worry there me getting banned single player or lan with my boys only.
