Video Game platform

I am a bit confused which gaming platform to choose .There are numerous of them , each excelling in its own ecosystem . As we all know that there are very good graphics game on :

PC , Consoles(wii. ps , xbox , etc) , android , ios ,etc . which one should I go for cause they are all going to cost me around same so money is not the matter the platform to enjoy everything is the sole purpose . I will appreciate any advise provided with reasons . Thanks in advance .

It depends what type of games and control system you prefer and if you want portability. PC is most versatile and has the most variety of games.

I think we can ignore iOS and Android in this discussion, unless you want to game solely on your tablet/phone.

PC, superior performance and flexibility but at a much greater initial cost and complexity than a console. Though if you take the approach that you need a PC anyway, then a $1000 machine isn't all that expensive compared to a console.

Consoles (PS4 and Xbox One, Wii U is just no) offer an easy way to game, you plug it in and it runs. On release they will perform about the same as low/mid range computers, but give 2-3yrs will quickly fall behind PC's as they are upgraded while the Consoles are stuck with a static hardware set. Its a good value if you buy one at the start of its lifecycle, not so much after a year or two.

Nice answer, and let us not forget that a PC has multiple uses, not just for gaming; it is essentially a consistent part of most people's daily life. Almost all homes have at least one PC nowadays, and with good reason. The new consoles are going on about how media inclusive they are - who gives a damn when you are watching all that on your 24-inch screen, in HIGHER quality. 😛
