My monitor, a 1080p Television is connected to my PC with a HDMI cable. And i have noticed that my image quality is slowly degrading and i am sometimes seeing VERY breef artifacts when i boot or playing a game. My colors are also degrading, green is becoming more yellow and everything is becoming generally more bright. I have noticed that this issue started happening since i upgraded to a Core i3-6100 on a MSI Z170A Gaming M5 motherboard. I have 2 monitors of which one is much older, this monitor does not get this issue. I think it might be my PSU because it is of low quality, because when i stress my GPU to 100% then it will crash after 5 - 10 minutes.

Solution
Well i think it might have been the drivers because a driver update apparently fixed the issue. I am also getting a better PSU asap because my current one is really bad and might be a hazard to my system.
Maybe try the on board graphics and see if that makes a difference. If it does, the GPU is most probably the problem, otherwise its something up. If you thing it only happens when your PSU is under stress, maybe overclock the CPU
