Hi, I have an NVIDIA GTX 1050. Had it for several years. Today my PC has constnatly been restarting (no BSOD), when I checked the dump files (attatched), it comes up with Video TDR faliure. Tried uninstalling the device in device manager and reinstalling it and same issue

Any ideas?

You have been able to check either with integrated graphics or another working discrete card that the system works otherwise?

What is the system spec, complete?

V-TDR f is generally going to be a card being worked too hard due to various conditions. Is this restart happening only in a specific application, at random, or?

Hello @tacticalkali ,

The Video TDR failure suggests an issue with your GPU or its drivers. Here are some steps you can try:

  1. Clean Driver Installation: Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove NVIDIA drivers, then reinstall the latest drivers from NVIDIA's website.
  2. Check GPU Temps: Overheating can cause TDR failures. Monitor GPU temperatures using tools like MSI Afterburner or HWMonitor.
  3. Power Supply Check: Ensure your PSU is providing adequate power to the GPU, especially if it’s aged.
  4. Test Hardware: Try the GTX 1050 in another system to rule out hardware failure or use a different GPU in your PC.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it could indicate a failing GPU.
