Hi,

I'm looking at a graphics card at videocardshop.co.uk and see that they specialise in new and refurb cards. There prices are very low, and I'd have to spend at least an extra £30 to get the same card from someone like Scan or OCUK.

Has anyone used videocardshop.co.uk? What are your opinions on refurb cards?

The guy told me that the card I get could be either new OR refurb and that he couldn't specifically tell me whether my card would be either (by the way both refurb and new are the same price). Each one comes with a 12 month warranty.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I bought a GeForce 6800LE from videocardshop.co.uk over 12 months ago and got an excellent deal. I too was wary of the cheap prices and refurb status of some of the cards but they sounded genuine people on the phone, got an order number and it seems like a new XFX graphics card (boxed and with drivers and manual) duly arrived for £60.00. Best PC bargain I have had.

I searched around for this company and apparently they are affiliated to XFX. The cards must be new or come from PCs that XFX have supplied that are no longer needed. XFX is a decent brand.

Hope this helps,

Davo
