Looking for a simple video editor - I was using Video Pad on my Win 7 machine and now with Win 10 that I got about a year ago (yes, I'm a bit behind the "times") I was looking for a simple reasonably priced video editor and VideoStudio Pro has come up a few times in my searches. I really love Video Pad's feature of two screens and basic simplicity, but looks like no other editors have this anymore.
Regarding VideoStudio Pro, I was wondering...
1. Are there earlier versions available for download or purchase? The Video Studio site only has one version available (I presume the latest) which is $75 (Aust dollars). I only need it for simple medium-high definition avi and mp4 editing. For speed fast/slow % (fwd/rev), Zoom/Crop, Mirror feature would be nice (VP didn't even have that) and colour adjustments (Temp/Gamma/Hue/ Contrast) plus simple transitions like cross fades and zoom fades; fade through black or white etc
A version from 7+ years ago would be just as good for me as the latest version, but where could I locate earlier versions?
2. Does anyone know if the 30 Day trial version of VS Pro allows you to fully render a video? As some trials don't. All they say is that some formats and features are limited, but don't say what those are! Pretty frustrating.
Or if anyone can suggest another simple editor under, say US$60, which has the basic features mentioned above. Would be appreciated.
