Hello everyone, everytime I try to open internet explorer or most programs for that matter, I keep getting a "view and track your downloads" box poppoing up. It has a run and a save button but nothing happens when I click either. It's driving me nuts. Please and thank you for the help!!

Most likely, this is Malware.

Download AVG, Spybot or Adaware (all free) and run it. Also, go to your installed programs (control panel) and remove any programs you didn't install. If you are surfing on your Admin account, don't DO that... ever again. Make yourself a user account and leave the admin account for computer maintenance.

Thank you for the quick feedback. I tried downloading AVG but when i try to run it, the same box pops up and nothing happens.

You may have installed a download manager, check your installed programs. Some of those things are not much better than viruses themselves.
