I have a ViewSonic VX3276-2K-MHD monitor that powers on but doesn't display anything. When powering on, I can see the screen get a bit lighter, but there is no startup/"boot" logo and no OSD when settings buttons are pressed. I connected a laptop using several known-good HDMI and DisplayPort cables, and tried mirrored and extended display modes. The laptop works fine with other external displays.
I'm asking for display repair suggestions. Are there common/known repairs (replacing specific parts) for the problem described? I have some ideas, but would like unbiased input.
Thank you!

Solution
well try to connect monitor when there should be some fullscreen picture, like desktop
make sure monitor is detected and screen miroring is enabled
then point some light source towards your monitor display, see if you see anything or is it just black
